Vietnam Foreign F&B Entry Process
Step 1: Investment Registration Certificate (IRC)
- Submit to provincial Department of Planning and Investment
- Requires business plan, capital proof, lease contract
- Processing: 15-30 working days
Step 2: Enterprise Registration Certificate (ERC)
- Apply to provincial Department of Industry and Trade after IRC
- Determine company name, business scope, registered capital
- Processing: 5-10 working days
Step 3: Food Operation License
- Apply to provincial Food Safety Authority
- Provide food safety management system, staff health certificates
- Premises must pass hygiene inspection
Step 4: Franchise Registration
- Under Vietnam Commercial Law Article 286, franchises must register with Ministry of Industry and Trade
- Submit franchise agreement, brand registration proof
